L4EJ’s participating attorneys are newer attorneys who are launching and growing a socially conscious law firm. To accelerate the attorneys’ practice development, L4EJ is recruiting attorney coaches to offer substantive help as the attorneys build and grow their practices. Seasoned attorneys will be rewarded professionally by helping the next generation of lawyers, and will do their part to address the justice gap in Georgia.
What is involved?
Attorney coaches are available to answer questions about substantive law and case strategy, offer insight into relevant judges, or explain best practices in your field. Attorney coaches should be prepared to make a one-year commitment, if possible. Coaches can expect to have a meeting with participants twice a month (ideally in person) and be available from time to time to answer quick legal strategy and substantive law questions.
L4EJ is seeking attorneys to coach L4EJ attorneys in the following areas:
· family law
· landlord/tenant and real estate litigation
· consumer protection issues
· criminal defense
· transactional work for small businesses
· wills, trusts and estates
If you are interested in volunteering as a coach or are willing to be available for quick questions from time to time, please contact L4EJ’s Executive Director, Stephanie Everett, at stephanie@L4EJ.org.
